A one woman anti-romcom about a young Black British millennial coming of age in her early 30s

Better not Ms is about a young Black British millennial coming of age in her early 30s, beginning with a miraculous freaky friday-esque transformation on the eve of her 30th birthday and ending with a disastrous wedding to herself aged 33. All the while never escaping the looming shadow of her mother, the complex intersectionality of Black womanhood, queerness and class, and the brutal expectations of entering the 4th Decade.

The White Company:
The White Company is a troublingly relevant satirical drama about whiteness. Set during the rehearsal period of a play about white supremacy, for a fully white cast, by a Black writer, it explores the history and legacy of the invention of race, the emergence of transracialism and the humbling realities of “postracialism”.
