TO THOSE ISLANDERS is a haunting and heartfelt historical adaptation exploring what it means to “Return Home”. When blind teenager “Ava” visits Jersey with her foster mother in 1995, she feels numb — having lost her sense of home. She’s drawn to a forgotten lighthouse undergoing deconstruction at the end of St Catherines pier. Upstairs, she meets “Evelyn”- another blind teenager from 1942 suspended in time. As their worlds intertwine - Ava uncovers the story of “Bad Wurzach”, and the mass deportations that occurred in Jersey during the occupation. This reshapes Ava’s understanding of home, forgiveness, and friendship.

A trailer for "In the Lantern Room" - Created by Noah Cox; is an audio described documentary about "TO "THOSE ISLANDERS" - a new Historical Adaptation grounded in Jersey's wartime history; written by Jack Norris. A story about Friendship, Care, and Returning Home.

The documentary gives us an honest glimpse into the successes, challenges, and considerations associated with making a piece of accessible Physical Theatre as emerging artists.
